On 30th May 2020, Rwandan Youth in Rwanda and abroad will commemorate their fellow youth killed in Genocide against Tutsi in 1994, the event that will take place through media.
Under the theme “Remember-Unite-Renew”, the discussions that will be aired at Rwanda Television, Radio Rwanda, Community radios and Social media platforms, will focus on the importance of commemoration and the role of youth in the preservation of Genocide history and genocide ideology prevention.
Between 25th and 29th May 2020, different radio shows about the event are organized to be aired on public and private community radios.
The Ministry of Youth and Culture and National Youth Council call upon all youth to take part in the commemoration and play their role in the Genocide history preservation, as well as Genocide ideology prevention.
