YOUTH FRIENDLY CENTERS MINIMUM PACKAGES
MINIMUM PACKAGE OF SERVICES
A Youth Friendly Centre has the following minimum package to meet the youth’s needs and expectations. These are services divided into two categories: Primary services which are priority services (provide information and direct services); and secondary services which are optional services (provide basic information, but if resources are available can provide some direct services).
Primary services
Ø Youth Mobilization
Ø Sports/leisure, Talent detection and promotion,
Ø Health friendly services,
Ø Entrepreneurship, Youth economic empowerment Employment promotion services
Ø ICT and Literacy skills
Secondary services
Ø Vocational training services
Ø Culture and civic education, including education to environmental management, promotion of volunteerism and gender equity.

§ Nurturing patriotic youth “Urubyiruko rubereye u Rwanda, Intore mu rungano and Agaciro kanjye” campaign
§ Contribute to boosting YouthConnekt Series and encourage Youth to look out for global opportunities.
§ Youth participation, outreach and exchange program at local, national and international levels.
§ Attitude change to work
§ Youth mobilization toward successful implementation of NEP especially for massive short vocational training, rapid response training and industrial based training;
§ Mobilization towards innovation, use of new technologies, green job and environment protection.
§ Awareness about Business support services, access to finance, Promotion of saving culture, cooperatives and companies at local level.
