The national youth council (NYC) has a mission to facilitate and encourage youth to participate in socio-economic development and transformation to a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable society.  Referring to that mission; NYC promotes innovation and entrepreneurship among youth with outstanding products to participate in the Rwanda international trade fair (RITF) known as Expo Rwanda. This support enables youth engaged in socio- economic activities to maximize their potential, make benefits in many ways and attain their long-term goals and objectives through exposing their products and services to local, national and international markets. Every year; from past 12 consecutive years NYC supports 12 best youth initiatives. 

Main objective

To promote innovation, quality of products and services and the culture of competition among youth cooperatives/individuals/companies by facilitating them to showcase their products, build professional network and learn from other exhibitors.
